Awesome! I've actually got the NASA TV channel on my cable system (well, sometimes; it's officially the "uw2.TV", which I think is for TV broadcast stuff for the University of Washington, but usually it's NASA TV programming, which is pretty cool. So, I'm watchin' it right now!

It's a bus!

Aw, man... looks like the flight's been scrubbed. That's sad. I guess there was somethign wrong with one of the fuel sensors. Hopefully they'll fix it soon and maybe tomorrow?

Ah, they just said, best case scenario, the launch will be Saturday.

Hey guys! Greetings from Kennedy Space Center...

It's pretty quiet around here today, and everyone (esp. the NASA folks) are understandably bummed. We should be hearing from NASA as early as 2pm ET (but possibly later in the day) whether they think they can launch this weekend, or if they'll have to wait for the September launch window. Those are probably the only two options at this point, although you never know.

I probably won't be able to get back online after the announcement- just wanted to give y'all a heads up!

Cool! I just turned on NASA TV now, but I'm not sure what it is. It looks like a press conference, but I think it's on something else.

It was a press conf. Short version: there's like a 2% chance they'll try to launch Sunday, but more likely not. So, I and a producer are bailing out tonight, and the rest of the crew will leave tomorrow after the final decision, late Friday afternoon.

My bet (and a lot of other people's here) is that it's not going to launch till the September window, which kinda sucks for everybody involved!

Yeah, I saw the press conference, too (the thing before was a panel about cosmonauts, I think), and yeah.. That sucks that you guys are pulling out, but I suppose it's better than than just hanging around there for no reason. Hopefully you'll get to come back for the Real Live Launch, though!

I've already made it clear that if I don't, I'll cry like a little girl. :D

(But actually, yes, odds are good they'll send me back.)
