Summer Moon!
Just a heads up, gleaned from MeFi, but tonight and the next couple days will have The Summer Moon Illusion. Tonight, in Seattle, it's going to be at 8.22. (There's a chart for various cities and a way to look up stuff if you're not on there.)

Ah! Cool. I love this. As you know, I do have a sort of a passing thing for astronomy sorts of stuff, so this is really neat.
heh, yep..8) It was actually that post which made me post this over here, too (it's basically a crosspost of something I did in my LJ, too, to be honest; thought it was cool enough that it'd be acceptable, though!), just to give a heads-up, anyway!
Unfortunately, I think the lookup thing is only US-based, but there are probably other sites that do the same thing for the whole world. (Or, depending on where you are in Canada, you might be able to get away with looking up the closest US city...)
