Errata...
I love these contests-- check out the MC Escher photoshop contest. Sort of like the contests the folks over at B3ta do. They get some pretty good entries. They also run similar "question" contests in their forums. They also do a challenge where they have a few which can't be missed (don't miss the "Texas Jigsaw Massacre").
The truth of this made me laugh and cry.
The Batman Begins movie is getting fresh tomatoes.
Our recent graphics discussion triggered my posting this link.

I love those yearly logo-trend overview type things. Those are so interesting to look at and see sort of the corporate zeitgeist of sorts.
The trailer for Batman Begins looks pretty good, although my favorite Batman is always Batman the Animated Series (though Batman Beyond was pretty good, too, actually. And I _adore_ Teen Titans on CN, but I don't think that counts. But I might even like that more than BTAS.)... but have you seen The Batman? It's got some of the worst character design I've ever seen; which makes it extra-bad since BTAS basically defined Slickness. That is an amazing cartoon to watch, and The Batman is like some nightmarish ruining of it. It makes me sad. They gave Alfred a giant bean for a head! And Batman could stab people with his chin! What the hell?! And don't even get me started on what they did to the Joker... (Aside from not getting anyone to do their voices again; it is impossible for me to think of an animated Batman that's NOT Kevin Conroy.)
The CJB article was really great, too. I dug that one. Especially the way they set the tone and went through the possible headlines. (With links!) And the "punchline" (not sure if it's still a punchline when it's taken from real life, heh -- probably, just more of a cosmic one) was great.
And some of those Escher photoshops were pretty cool. I dug the Orange version of the Rind.
Oh my god. (From the "Texas Jigsaw Massacre" thread... :D )
Hah, that would have been awesome.
