That's a really, really hilarious headline. Actually, most lines in the article are hilarious for much of the same reason.
This guy's problem is that "he has been unable to obtain an official name change in Washington". His name simply is not (yet) Jesus Christ.
Lines like this sound like something from The Onion:
"Christ is not speaking to the press at this time," Pishevar said."
