Angels of Light
Michael Gira used to be half of one of my favorite bands ever, The Swans. Their album White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity ranks among my most favorite albums ever.
Now he has a project called the Angels of Light, and their last album, The Angels of Light sing 'Other People,' is absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

Interesting... I checked out some Swans discs at Amazon - hoo boy! - used copies of White Light are 65.00 and up and some of their other albums are going for even more. Color me intrigued...
Whaaaaa....??!? I had no idea they were even out of print, much less that they were jacked up like that.
Damn, I need to quit sitting beer cans on my CD covers, I think. :D
Hmmm... if you really want to hear it, I'll fix you up. (This goes for everyone.) I don't want to "hype" it, but it IS a great album. I just can't believe anyone would pay 65 bucks for ANY album... that's nuts.
