Well, remember, he DID refuse to produce XTC because he didn't think they needed his help, that they were doing a-OK on his own. So perhaps Eno's gonna kick them into being a decent, non-sucky band.
Speaking of Eno, though -- Belinda Carlisle's got a new album of French Pop covers, and Eno's playing keys on it. Neato!
Yeah, that's true... I mean, U2 didn't need "help," really, but Achtung, Baby really did set the course for the rest of their career, didn't it? Maybe something like that will happen here. It's not like Coldplay are a terrible band, they're just so damn bland. Maybe Eno will give 'em a kick in the pants.
Also, that Belinda Carlisle album sounds fun! :)
