Bill Bennett takes another televised beating



The Washington Post's Dana Priest took Bill Bennett to task on Meet The Press yesterday, and got in a nasty personal jab while she was at it. How on earth did Bennett get to be the administration's unofficial spokesman with that whiny, flustered style of his?

The juicy stuff starts at about 4 minutes in, halfway through the clip, but the whole clip is an interesting discussion. (Note to Bennett: even William Safire doesn't have your back, dude. What does this tell you?)

I could watch this Bennett guy on TV 24/7. He's as coached and schooled as they come and, as usual, NONE of his positions stand up to tight research and reporting.
