Mammatus Clouds

I had no idea these types of clouds existed. Although I went to school in Nebraska and probably saw "normal looking" examples of these ones a few times, there are some extraordinary ones on Flickr.
So whatever happens, absolutely, positively do NOT miss THIS SHOT. Spectacular.

Awesome photographs -- those clouds are neat. I wish I had a camera one time riding in a car back from college. The sky was this perfectly creepy color of a glowy-brown. Seemed to really remind me a lot of Tim Burton.
Man, those are incredible. Seems I saw a picture of tis kind of cloud back int he pre-Flickr days, but it had never occurred to me to look for them on there... VERY cool.
And I don't think we ever get these kind of clouds in the southeast.
