I've actually seen it not too long ago in a record store. I've heard it's sadly not-so-good, but, well, on the other hand, it IS John Waters, and is probably worth getting for that fact alone. Because he rocks.
Saw this at Borders last week, but couldn't justify spending 15 bucks on what's being described (online and off) as a pretty crappy disc :-(
As always with this kinda thing, YMMV...
In related news, I hope to have my 3rd annual Xmas compilation finished and in the mail soon.
Sounds like I need to watch for this in the used bins and not spend too much on it. Thanks for the warning, guys. :)
Look for it on ebay. Two copies have current bids of $6.05 and $6.10, plus a bunch of Buy It Now's.
Hey -- we got a dissenting view that calls John Waters' "as perfect as Christmas records get"! So, hey...
No, you didn't but good to see you here! :)
As for the John Waters Xmas CD- I found out that my friend and former boss at work had it, so I borrowed it from him. Worth hearing, but I'm glad I didn't buy it new. Heh!
