It's curtains for The Riddler

Awww... I was sorry to hear about this:

BURBANK, California (AP) -- Actor Frank Gorshin, the impressionist with 100 faces best known for his Emmy-nominated role as the Riddler on the old "Batman" television series, has died. He was 72.

Oh, that's too bad... he also did some of the post-Blanc Looney Tunes voices. So, yeah, that's too bad. He was pretty cool.

We bought those DVDs of the "Ed Sullivan" shows that the Beatles appeared on in 1964, and Gorshin was on one of those.. he was hilarious, and it was cool for me (who grew up on "Batman") to see him doing some of his non-Riddler bits... he WAS a very talented guy.
