Fortune Cookies on Mars!

I have to admit, the fortune cookie quip wasn't mine, but I think it's a pretty good description of this strange two-toned Martian rock.

The rock is very cool. They have yet to send a poet into space, so pretty much all we get is, "Yep. It's beautiful. Just a big, blue... ball.

I'm glad you check this site every day. I certainly do. It's just amazing what APOD puts up sometimes.

Lately, though, I'm like, bah, another galaxy or nebula I'll never see. And honestly, who cares about Mars, sometimes? There's nothing there.

I've looked at this on several different monitors now, and it DOES look like a fortune cookie. :)

It probably used to hold a piece of paper that said, "You will take a long journey."

LOL - that's a good idea... or maybe it should say, "Learn to like where you are. Because you'll never see home again."
